The Wesley Memorial Church Council has been restructured after a
favorable vote at a Charge Conference held at WMUMC on Monday, April 20, 2009 to a group of no more than 17 to include the four Group Ministry leaders and appropriate support persons as outlined in the Book of Discipline. (see Church Council Membership list below)
The purpose:
To plan and implement a program of nurture, outreach,
witness, and resources at WMUMC.
To provide for the administration of WMUMC's organization.
To set budget and salaries
To oversee and audit membership
To fill vacancies in ministry areas
To annually evaluate the mission and ministry of the church.
Effective May 1, 2009
