Dear Member:
The Property Committee has decided to purchase pine needles this year but to spread them with volunteer labor. We are doing this to be better stewards in these tight economic times, but to also increase the fellowship opportunities. You are receiving this letter as you have expressed an interest in the past in landscaping, gardening, or grounds maintenance.
The plan is to spread 1000 bales of pine needles on our campus before Easter. We’ll be working on Saturday mornings from 9 am until 1 pm. We have three Saturdays available March 20, March 27, and April 3. We’ll need about 30 to 35 volunteers each Saturday. Please help as you are able on as many Saturdays as you can. Rain dates are to be determined.
