The Through-The-Week School is a half-day,
child development program.
The purpose of the Nursery and Kindergarten ministries is to provide young children with opportunities on their age level for TOTAL GROWTH: social, emotional, physical, mental and spiritual. We seek to build the foundation for positive self-esteem and sound educational development within a Christian environment.
Our program is accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children.
NAEYC standards reflect the highest quality criteria for early childhood programs. Each age level has hands-on experiences for learning by doing what is fun & stimulating. Christian values, attitudes, Bible stories and songs give the child a foundation of love and security. Our child/teacher ratio provides for daily individual nurture. The learning center approach invites each child to learn at his/her potential through reading readiness, writing, math, art, puzzles, role playing in home living with dress-ups, block-building, large muscle play & interaction, books, music, listening, nature, science & wonder.
Parents are encouraged to play an active role in their child’s learning experiences.
Children benefit from healthy partnerships between families & teachers. Family members are part of our program and are welcome at all times. Our school year operates the end of August through May, with registration for the upcoming school year beginning in January.
