Lunch for 11,000 ~ The Global Missions Team is looking for 65 volunteers, ages
8-93+, to help package highly nutritious, long-shelf life meals on Saturday, August
16 from 9:45 a.m. to 12:00 noon in the Dining Hall. There are meaningful “sit
down” and “stand up” jobs for everyone. The meals will be sent to Kenya to be used
in school lunch programs. Please call Joe or Diana Lorber, 869-6715 or jlorber@
triad.rr.com to sign up for this fun-filled event. Representatives will be at each
worship service today to answer questions and register volunteers. This will be a
great “hands on” event during which you may get to know people in our church that
you haven’t even met yet. Come join us and help feed the children in Kenya!
