Baptism is one of the two sacraments celebrated by United Methodist Churches and it is “an outward and visible sign” of God’s amazing grace to adopt us as God’s daughters and sons, incorporate us into the family of God, and to work in us by the power of the Holy Spirit. Baptism makes the beginning of God’s mighty work of salvation. Persons of all ages are suitable candidates for baptism. Baptism at Wesley Memorial is always held in connection with one of our worship services. Adults desiring baptism should contact Al Ward. Parents desiring baptism for their children should contact Debbie Foust, Director of Children and Family Ministries.
